TESLA Model S Plaid with mbDESIGN 22 inch wheels

A custom wheel solution was developed for the TESLA Model S Plaid, featuring individually adjusted offset (ET) values. The goal was to have the wheels sit further out without using spacers – exactly as requested by the customer. The front axle features an ET26 and the rear axle an ET28, each positioned 5 mm further out than the standard recommended mbDESIGN SF1 forged wheels in 22 inches.

High-quality summer tires were mounted: Falken FK510 in size 265/30 R22 at the front and 295/25 R22 at the rear. A powerful alternative for the rear axle is the Hankook EVO3 in 315/25 R22 – V-Maxx certified up to 290 km/h.

Important: With Tesla's “Track Package” brake upgrade, the SF1 wheel in size 11x22 inch ET28 no longer fits over the brake system. For this case, mbDESIGN offers special alternatives precisely developed for the Model S Plaid and Model X Plaid with Track Package.

Winter-ready as well: There are suitable 21-inch winter wheels available for all Tesla Model S Plaid variants – including those with Track Pack.

The vehicle has been lowered and allows plug & play installation without any modifications. The setup is TPMS-compatible and was implemented without wheel spacers.
